How to Create Stickers for Telegram
Let’s agree, nowadays it’s rare to have a conversation without memes, stickers, or just funny images. Thousands of people daily express their emotions and thoughts using pictures — without unnecessary words. Today, the boto team will tell you how to create stickers for the Telegram messenger and make your communication even brighter!
What do you need for this?
- Images you plan to add to your set
- A photo editor you are comfortable using
- The chat-bot @stickers
Let’s get started!
Preparing images for stickers
STEP 1
First, select and prepare the necessary images in a photo editor. Stickers require the .PNG or .WEBP format with a transparent background.
If the image is square and fills the entire space — a transparent background is not required. Get creative!
To make your sticker pack look nice, it’s recommended to add a white outline and shadow to the image, but this is not mandatory: it all depends on your vision!
It’s worth remembering that Telegram has a limit — no more than 120 stickers in one pack. If you have more — create several packs.
As the chat-bot @stickers notes: "The image should fit into a 512×512 square (one side — 512 pixels, the other — 512 or less)." Therefore, we recommend following this advice so your stickers look neat.
STEP 2
For convenience, use the web or desktop version of Telegram.
